Meet Michael And Dan

Dan -  I am a recently retired educator in the midst of a career change.  I was a teacher for the first 15 years of my professional career and then a high school guidance counselor for the last 15 years.  I absolutely loved my job, but retired in order to pursue something different in ways of travel.  I am seeking adventure in all the beauty this world has to offer.  Life is short, so I figure I might as well get out and experience it!

Michael - I am currently in my fourth year of studies at Central Michigan University.  Growing up in Michigan you learn to respect the great outdoors in a unique way, camping, boating, and trekking across our great state parks, and of course the great Isle Royale National Park.  To anyone who enjoys meandering through a dense forest, biking amidst a bustling city, climbing a switchback out of a desert canyon, rafting around winding rapids, or skiing down backcountry trails, chances are we have a few things in common.
